They did exist before reddit as forums, however they where fragmented across different languages and websites. At some point Google started to show reddit more often, because it was more search engine optimized and mobile friendly. This means new users found reddit first, and old users where slowly pulled away from their forums into reddit.

Call me old fashioned, but to me a search in the computers task bar should be a search in LOCAL files only. If I want to find random shit from the Internet I would use a proper search engine. Right now, windows search is just rubbish for both local files and Internet content.
In an unmodified windows it would also show random tabloid news from MSN or affiliates inside the start menu…

An flashlight concentrates it’s light in a small cone, a projector must spread it over a larger area, while still being brighter than the ambient light if you want to use it as a projector. Take a guess why any good projectors cost more and use expensive hardware, instead of “hurr durr let’s just juse a 10 cents flashlight LED!1!!”
There are YouTube channels who review cheap temu tech, and some of them also did cheap projectors, with the expected results.
I think the problem with 2 folds is that you get a square screen, which sucks for most websites, videos and games optimized for 16:9 screens, either landscape or portrait.
If a projector is $99 it’s rubbish. And what kind of light source would fit into a cellphone that is bright enough to throw a picture from 2m away from the wall, possibly during day light hours, without eating the battery in 5 mins?
Mostly because he is a YouTube entertainer, and not necessarily an tech expert. He got some shitstorm a while ago because of the bad treatment of some of his staff, and other YouTubers called him out because his benchmarks where wrong multiple times, but he would never revisit and correct them. Some staff members said this was impossible for them to to accurate testing and reviews because of the high pressure to churn out new videos.
Personally I get the vibe that he is nice and entertaining in front of the camera, but might be a less chill person as your boss.
Well if they know that, why spend time and money on all the other consumer products only to drop them a few years later?

The problem is that someone decided to dumb down the error message to not scare users, instead of passing on the real error code from the application that people could Google and fix in 5 mins themselves.
You can never predict the stock market, because the market depends on a lot of outside influences you might not know about. Maybe some disaster wipes out the only supplier for a critical part of your top performing stock tomorrow, so he cannot deliver goods anymore. Maybe a single big investor dumps all his stock overnight, sending the value down. Maybe some law or sanction is passed that changes how the company must operate. Maybe some other trading bot decides to buy or sell a huge number of shares.
No computer or AI can account for all of the outside factors and accurately predict the outcome each time. Each “Trading AI” is just snake oil that lives of your fees and commissions. If it was working as advertised, they would not need your money, but could make infinite riches by just trading their own stocks.
