I am looking into a career change but I’ve been doing the same type of job my whole career.
I have an upcoming interview for a job that sounds really interesting but I’m worried that I won’t be able to highlight my transferable skills.
Does anyone have tips/suggestions?
Unfortunately I think this is one you just gotta wait out. Eventually as the older population downsizes/ moves to assisted living/ dies, houses will become available.
Also, vote for governments that view housing as a human right and not an investment.
Start learning a new language so you can move to a country that actually cares about their citizens :)
What about moving out to a nearby apartment? That way you can still be close to help your parents but have your own space to retreat to.
You joke, but sometimes I’ve had a crappy day and just wanna play some ARAMs.
I literally have nightmares about all of these scenarios.
Journalism isn’t free. For a different type of service, I would reconsider if I wanted to continue supporting them. But good journalism is disappearing, so I think if you’re in a position to help keep it going, you should.
I also listen to Lore, Myths and Legends and Fictional as bedtime stories.
I would add “Nothing Much Happens” to this list. The podcaster writes these short stories and tells them in a soothing voice with the goal of helping you fall asleep.
What are atheist beliefs? I thought being atheist just meant you were non-religious?
Is the podcast not as good as the videos were?
