They said there was servers in Asia that should help with ping for au and the game is pretty resistans to high ping because of how it is built. That is atleast what they said on the live stream I watched.

I have never managed to get any exe to start with wine and god i have tried. I have no idea why it never works but a menu comes up and i can choose a lot of stuff, nothing in there works so i have just given up. Putting things and run through steam is stupid but works so i just run everything through steam 😂 Wish I didn’t have to.

Because form and function is not the same thing. I don’t look at the controller while playing just like I dont give a damn how my keyboard look as long as it feels good and does what it is supposed to do.

I don’t have any real issue either. Have a rtx 4070 card. Or… Well… There was some issues playing darktide on anything but the lowest settings for some reason but other than that its been good.

Note that i mostly play smaller/indie games with very few exceptions.

No, it is not too bad today but what about in a year? In 5 years? 10? 20? If you bring another human into this world you always have the thoughts about this new person and want it to have its best life. Today is fine but I doubt 20 years from now will look fine. After using win 11 for about a year I got tired of that shit. Every version since 98made the settings menu harder and harder to find whatever I was looking for and this is true for everything in that OS. Save a file? 5 clicks at least just to be able to pick WHERE I want it. Wtf.

It was driving me insane. Bazzite, easiest OS for what I use my computer for and not looking back.

Indeed. Took me 20min from starting install to having my first game on Steam. Best experience ever. Never looked back.

Maybe it wasn’t considered work for this person? They wanted to try and do something better in their own time. I am not saying they shouldn’t be compensated but doing something of your own will doesn’t have to be work, it can be fun.

I also tried to get diriger games to install with heroic, lutfisk or whatever but never got it to work. Threw the installer to steam and it just works. Weird… So I just do everything through steam now instead of messing around.

Why would you need 1440p on a small screen like that? I think 720p on the original switch was fine and see no need for anything with a small screen to have so hig resolution. Especially since that means less battery time, just waste of power.

There is a zoom function. Haven’t tried it myself yet as I haven’t had the need yet. But there is on the deck.

But the update is so much more work than a horse armor dlc which is a lot of money for no content.
