I was more into them when I was younger. I think my high school friend forcing me to watch a new one every single time I visited made me not care for them anymore. Every now and then I’ll remember a joke from Brian Regan or one of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour guys I liked, but that’s it.

I think my problem is I can’t really practice smalltalk. My work environment makes it impossible for people to casually talk even when not much is going on. I go out a lot and do a bit of volunteer work every now and then, but there’s not really anyone to talk to during those times other than maybe people MUCH younger than me (like around 10 years younger) and I feel even more uncomfortable talking to them since I don’t want to seem like a creep or that older guy trying to be cool with the kids.

I have some family members I haven’t spoken to in probably 6 years cause I can’t stand their beliefs. Life is too short to spend it with people that you don’t like.

I didn’t really care for it. Still felt too much like “look at the horrible things our poor American soldiers went through” with barely any showcasing of what the other side was having to deal with other than the family the Americans took hostage.
My dad feeds raccoons every night and they’re basically just like any other animal. They like having food and some company. I’ve gotten down on the ground with them before as they took a cookie from my hand and ate it. There’s times we joke about how they act exactly like our dog when they see anyone in the kitchen and think they’re about to get some food.
It’s what I have for dinner ever since I started my early morning job.
Something about the big bad in the first MHA movie whipping out a gun and shooting somebody just hit hard. Like this is a world where people can whip out black holes and use their skin to create anything they want, yet a pistol made everyone stop immediately and collectively shit themselves.
Getting permabanned on my main and any secondary accounts I had helped. The app on my phone I use for Lemmy makes it look pretty much exactly like the Reddit app so the only difference for me is less people which means some communities I’d like to talk to people in just has nobody in them.

Oh yeah. I got a temp ban for saying the above and then got 2 more strikes for just saying the word “violence” which resulted in my permaban.
Take care of your teeth!! I get it can be hard to do so if you’re depressed cause I’ve been there. I’ve lost a couple molars cause of it. It’s expensive and sucks. At least try your best to do it once a week if you struggle.
