Oh wow. Now I need to look up a translation for what was said before that to maybe put it in context to at least see what they were attempting to convey.

Technology@lemmy.world•Mozilla under fire for Firefox AI "bloat" that blows up CPU and drains batteryEnglish
11·4 months agoThat’s goofy as hell that the emergency number isn’t localized. I think the idea that pressing a physical button 5 times quickly is faster than having to look at the phone and select options. Idk, though, I don’t use it.
Is that what was actually said or a poor translation?

4·4 months agoBixby was not llm based, originally, and sometimes updates will rewrite a user’s custom settings. For instance, I had a galaxy on which I made pushing the power button three times turn on the flashlight. An update occurred that overrode that setting by deleting it and turned on five presses to call 911. I ended up accidently calling 911 at 3am (accompanied by a blasting alarm sound) trying not to wake someone by turning on the light.

Wasps are disrespectful. One year, I had a nest right on the corner of the frame on my front door. I left it because there was at most only ever one outside, and it would just look at me, so I figured we had a truce. After about 6 weeks, I’m in the bathroom, and one of these assholes comes flying out from behind the toilet to drive bomb me while I got my thang out. I destroyed their whole community after that.
My cousins and I were actually shocked to see this recently in a restaurant. We don’t live in the same area, yet none of us could recall seeing this in recent memory. It felt so anachronistic.

111·5 months agoSo much of forensics is bullshit or not quite as accurate as it’s portrayed to the public. People are already primed to accept information from people with titles/degrees and copaganda television cements that trust in these “experts.”
They literally grow in their own “packaging.” Wtf?
Fyi: they can approximate your arrival home by the deterioration of your scent. They become concerned when you’re late.

4·5 months agoAbsolutely. Linux in general has become very approachable. I recently came back to Linux after 15 years away and I have been very impressed with how well everything just works. I’ve only experienced very minor issues with peripherals that were solved with a simple Google search or update.

10·5 months agoWhere are people getting this idea that there will ever be any type of trails for this? I’ve even seen some talking about the Hague, which is particularly laughable because the US has an invasion policy specifically regarding the Hague, predating Trump.

What does any of that have to do with using “tiny penis” as an insult? The issue the other user has is with the insult itself.
