95·14 days agoMaybe controversial, but if I ask AI for a recipe I get one. If I search for something and go to a website there’s a fucking novel to trawl through before I find the actual recipe. Even then it’s in weird units half the time.

2·19 days agoI assume electric showers are pretty rare over there? We’d have like a 16mm2 cable ran to the bathroom for a 10.5kW shower. And with one of those it’s practically instant heat, and enough to heat high flow.
If I’m going in the shower then 100% in the shower. Good excuse to just stand there for 2 minutes and don’t worry about making a mess.
Not sure I’ve seen that one but the actual thing is a method of land preservation so a single entity cannot own a meaningful amount of land to develop. You get something like a square foot of Blairadam Forest.
Ha mine doesn’t. And frustratingly it continues playing before the volume control wants to be functional a few seconds after.
The cereal ain’t bad either.

8·6 months agoKinda funny that they end up full of glass when for the most part everyone just bangs it in a case of some kind.
That’s a really good point I’ve not thought about as I’m lucky to live somewhere without that risk.
Yep. Can’t imagine a wooden house. It sounds flimsy and loud.
Hell yes. Work phone is scheduled to go silent at 16:00 just in case I forget to turn it off.

Sandals and socks it is then!
