As long as you keep the apps up to date both on your devices and the server, I’ve had zero issues with it!

I just wanted something similar to Google photos which i could set and forget, other than being a bit lazy with managing my NAS, it’s been flawless! Plus it’s the benefit that my data is staying with me 🥰

I’d love to know the stats of how many people are using the official mobile apps vs third party clients. Surely you’re gonna break third party at some point that people just give up on YT.

I’m exactly the same as what OP describes. I’m laser focused to get what I came for and get tf out as quick as possible as I hate shopping. Unfortunately my partner loves to look through the aisles to see what new products they have, it can be so frustrating but it makes her happy.

As with many things, I think the answer is somewhere in the middle.

You have to act in your own self interest at times otherwise no one is going to prioritise your interests. But at the same time you should at times prioritise other peoples interests so that they will do the same in turn, I love the saying, “treat others how you would like to be treated”

That said, if you only ever prioritise others over yourself, at some points this will be a detriment to you.

However, just because you might try and strike the balance of maintaining your own self interest in tandem with those you care about, doesn’t mean you’ll always strike the right balance or not accidentally prioritise yourself at the detriment of someone else, we are only human after all.

I feel this so much, if you want that experience you may as well be using Windows! What did you switch to?
