I wanted a Good Burger with nothing on it, you just gave me a bun. You said you wanted nothing on it. I at least wanted a meat patty. A meat patty is something, you said nothing.

My gaming computer runs Windows 11. I honestly couldn’t tell you the difference between Windows 10 and 11.

Me and some friends once went to Five Guys, got burgers and snuck them into the movie theater. It was awesome.

Why would I imagine doing something I did 2 weeks ago? I love going to the movies; me and a friend are going to all the Studio Ghibli movies!

There’s no way that Elon let her have any actual autonomy to make decisions for the company. I’m not even convinced Elon didn’t just tell her to say that.

Also, assuming those are her own words, she didn’t say that she did any of those things, just that she had the “responsibility” to do so. If that was really her responsibility, she epically failed at it.

I’m not convinced she actually did anything as “CEO.” I’m sure that Elon just told her what to do/say and she made it seem like they were her ideas. There’s no way she had any ability to make any real changes or do any real work.

I thought you could load bookshop.org eBooks onto a Kindle, but it seems they have their own DRM and you need to use their own app…

Some of their books are DRM free, but not all. I thought they all were, but it turns out I was wrong.

So… maybe even bookshop.org isn’t the best option for Kindles.

I guess there really is only one option left…

To all the people who are saying “I’ll just pirate books,” you are aware you can buy eBooks from places that aren’t Amazon, right?

Have a look at https://bookshop.org/ebooks You can buy books/eBooks and support local bookstores that aren’t Barnes & Nobles or Amazon.

I’d suggest you download/archive your Kindle books and then buy your eBooks from elsewhere. You can still load those onto your Kindle.

Saying “I’m going to pirate because one specific website is changing its policy soon,” is pretty stupid.

EDIT: Turns out I was wrong about bookshop.org, you actually can’t load their eBooks into a Kindle. You need their app since they have their own DRM. Looks like I got all worked up about something without looking it up first.

So the upvotes and downvotes in the comments don’t do anything?

I use Hyprland daily and it works great. The only issue I have is that PhpStorm has some minor issues. Being a Java app, it runs via XWayland. It mostly works, but sometimes menus and popups get confused and won’t stay open.
