I know right? I have around 60k total streams in 5 years, and I earned around $300 so far. I use a free distributor (who takes a 15%) cut though. I figured I’m not earning much anyway, so I don’t really mind them getting a cut if I get unlimited uploads without a fee.

I do different genres, but recently been releasing industrial metal.
Thanks for the interest! Here’s my music, with genre tags since I do multiple genres: https://linktr.ee/secondstagenavigator
I average 6 listeners a month on streaming platforms lol. But hey, that’s better than 0. And I do it for the love of music first and foremost.
Our drummer solved this problem by having our rehearsals where his drumkit is permanently set up.

2·3 months agoI’m using OneRPM at the moment. Other than the sometimes frustrating approval process, they have been ok. It’s free with the 30% cut. I don’t get enough streams to earn a significant amount so it made the most sense to me vs using a paid distributor.

31·3 months agoAnd here I am struggling and fighting with my distributor ever time I upload a new instrumental album because they can’t confirm that it’s all original work.

11·7 months agoNot mine, because I’m not famous enough for people to pirate my music lol. It would be flattering for me to be included in this batch of scraped music.
