On the topic, did AOL work on linux? They were the google of their time, i can’t imagine the FOSS world thought very highly of them

3·10 months agoI’d love to try a tiling wm but KDE and mate are the only things i can get to look the way i like, and i can’t find anyone else that made a glossy frutiger aero hyprland rice
I tried gentoo a while ago and couldn’t figure out portage, but that’s on me… The reason i switched to from standard arch was just because my pc took 3 miniutes to boot (from nvme) and changing my init sys to runit solved my issue. I’d love to actually figure out gentoo someday though
God please make this for modern linux somebody

For me personally when i set up my nextcloud server i had to edit yaml files, they wouldn’t open in vim or nano and it was just a general headache

I’d love ubuntu, my only real problem with it is it’s owned by a company and not community backed

I agree with copyleft and the fsf’s core ideas, but also understand some people just don’t like gnu, due to just not wanting to call it “gnu/linux” and stallman being kind of weird
