Getting back into FFXIV

Oh wow! Was ignoring this game since I expected it not to run on deck. Will still wait for performance reviews but def on the radar now.

I like playing brawlers/beat’em ups. They are really straight forward and don’t require any quality of life upgrades.

This feel strangely like it has little to do with actually protecting kids…

Are the biomes really big? Have you experienced any dips in fps in higher demand areas?

Honestly, this is probably the next game changing tech. There are lot of uses for AR. Size, style, and battery life are probably the biggest issues to overcome.

Brave as fuck. It’s a call for all of us to do a little more. What’s happening in our world shouldn’t be the norm anymore.

I have a Gen-1 pair. They are great for traveling. If you game on your phone or steam deck they are also nice to have.

Price point is too high. There are lot of other options out there. I only recommend if you travel a lot or you want to turn your phone into a mini-laptop.

If it doesn’t matter then why change it at all?

Doesn’t this open up a clear pathway way to discrimination?

Even AI and data has bias, add that with malicious intent, and what stops a grocer from charging exploited communities higher prices?
