Linux@lemmy.ml•Fedora Silverblue is the most frustrating distro so farEnglish
4·2 years agoI don’t fully understand how silverblue and kinoite are different, but I feel this way with base Fedora KDE. I’ve never broken it even a little bit when that used to be common with Ubuntu based distros for whatever reason.
It’s very walkable. I can get to most places easily or just take a stroll around the neighborhood.
I had the exact opposite problem, where I caught covid so early (back in January 2020) that they were still calling it bronchitis.
My mom, on the other hand, had a situation similar to you, and it hit her HARD. She still has long covid symptoms where she gets extreme fatigue and a weird taste in her mouth.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What made you pick the Lemmy server you are on?
5·2 years agoMy main one is on lemmy.ml and I’ll admit it was just the first one I saw. My second one is on lemmy.blahaj.zone in case something happens to the dev instance.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Where do you get news from online that you trust?
11·2 years agoIf something’s important enough, I end up hearing it through people on discord. I don’t actively look for news.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•To fellow penguins, What is your distro?English
5·2 years agoFedora KDE spin. I dunno how to feel about the recent announcement but from what I know, it shouldn’t affect Fedora itself.

2·2 years agoI wouldn’t say “currently”, but I used to use Infinity.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's a community you've discovered or created on Lemmy that you'd love to see grow?
2·3 years agoI’m a bit biased since I made this but here’s a Shin Megami Tensei/Persona/general Atlus game community: !megaten@lemmy.ml

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Reddit refugees, has your favorite sub migrated already?
2·3 years agoI tried making a Shin Megami Tensei community because there wasn’t one but I’m the only one in it still.
Fedora with KDE for my work laptop and windows 10 for my gaming PC. I greatly prefer linux but had several problems getting it to work properly on that PC and then I had to run the games too.
As for Fedora, I chose it because I wanted a system that just worked out of the box. Since I don’t do games on that computer for the most part, it’s much easier. Ubuntu unfortunately hard broke several times on me for reasons that were probably my fault but I don’t entirely comprehend. Some were fixable but it wasn’t worth the trouble. Fedora has never had any major issues for me.

I don’t really want to use 11 until I must, but I’ll keep this in mind.
