Beautiful, this is the kind of content that inspires me to work on my Bionicle ttrpg setting book for D&D, GURPS and more.

I just found and set up Gameyfin (a play on Jellyfin). Still in the testing it out phase, but I love the idea of a collection of my friends and my DRM free games that we can all share with less reliance on big companies.

Meanwhile I’m just out here banging my head against a wall for hours having tried to make it work on Unraid and ended up not succeeding…

Thanks for posting, both a great reminder to try setting this up on my unraid, and also to add the RSS feed of that site to Feeder.

You know, I’m really curious about xmpp, kinda wanna check it out, but then every time I am reminded that it exists it comes with a new and different chain of dependencies? other apps? whatever the other things are anyways that people list with it. And then I don’t bother researching because suddenly it seems like the more complicated option. Not intending to insult, just lamenting.

Wow, thanks for this comment, I think I may have finally found my next phone! I did not expect Linux with android, wireless charging, NFC, and hopefully one day display out. Thanks for commenting!

Woah cool, this is the first time I’ve actually read about postmarketOS, other than seeing it mentioned occasionally, and it’s pretty neat to see it coming along!

We must be pretty close on that by now, I can emulate a number of Switch 1 games surprisingly OK (not amazing, just OK) on my S21!
