Yeah that’s the one I was picturing lol. Not sure my thumb is adept enough to tell all those buttons apart

Lol that sounds pretty cool tbh. Assuming your mouse has ~12 inputs like the right side of the Deck or most gamepads do

Senator Chris Zaxar Travers.
Wait, who are we voting for?
Who did I say I was gonna vote for?
Why did Trump run uncontested?

Just adding here that when I first got into PC gaming, I was really into Battlefield 3 but hated the M+K controls for any of the vehicles so I would pick up my wired gamepad whenever I got into a vehicle.
If we had something that seamlessly mixed the strengths of both input methods, as it seems that the Switch 2 JoyCons do, that would solve so many of the problems I have with playing vehicle-heavy FPS games, or 3rd person action games that also include aiming a ranged weapon.

“any bluetooth mouse” needs to be paired with either a keyboard, or one of those split keyboards, or a gamepad in the other hand and none of those are very conducive to playing a game from the couch.
I’ll admit I haven’t tried the MouseMode at all, let alone on my lap or on the couch next to me but it sounds extremely novel and likely to catch on if it could work well.

If I were to use a trackball, I might as well use my old Steam Controller with its track pads which are practically the same.
I feel like the benefit of the Mouse Mode is you have two halves of a Steam Deck’s built-in controller, one in each hand, but instead of track pads you have an actual laser mouse. Maybe I’m being picky but this seems relatively revolutionary in my head

I think you’re missing the point. A standard mouse lacks a lot of stuff. Sure there are mice with peripheral buttons, and some with a lot of them, and even some with joysticks, but the Switch 2 JoyCons come with not just that, but a paired controller for your other hand that fits there much better than a full Xbox or Playstation or Switch Pro gamepad. Having a mouse built into the controllers would be just like having the Deck’s trackpads, except with more precision.

That seems fairly nice, but are you able to purchase the Legion Go’s detachable controllers separately? I’m not about to buy a full new handheld console since I already have a Deck

The side of the controller that would magnetically attach to the Switch 2 can be placed on a surface (including a lap/thigh) and used as a laser mouse
I like natural more as well because numbers aren’t real and claiming otherwise is just blue-balling all the nerds
MOM! Phineas and Ferb are educating the greater Public about the universal benefits of a 4-day work week with no reduction in pay!

Rick’s obsession with McDonald’s’ Mulan-promotional szechuan sauce wasn’t really generation-defining, but it definitely was one of the bigger moments where internet nerds crawled out of their caves and into the social spotlight for a hot minute. Still can’t believe people got violently enraged over that
your thoughts and feelings are still ruled by physical processes

If there is an unbroken chain of causality, that means that history has been written start to finish already, and my consciousness is just along for the ride. The thing is, my consciousness is locked to right now, which is a single point in this 4-D space, as are all the consciousnesses that I interact with because that’s exactly what right now is.
Until the day I interact with a consciousness that is experiencing a different point in 4-D space other than right now, it does not matter if free will truly exists because from my perspective and from all of my scientific testing so far (like deciding to pick my nose as I just did), evidence suggests that my consciousness is capable of making decisions. Even if those decisions are all a result of a deterministic path, my consciousness felt like it made them so it might as well have.
I remember almost choking because I was laughing so hard at “Everybody Poops” and how Fergie was notorious amongst the Peas for having such horrible bowel issues.
Whenever someone references the book, I basically always follow it up (sometimes silently) with “and if you don’t you’re an android and should be destroyed”

I feel like the last 30 years of Star Wars movies could qualify here

That’s so disappointing to hear. DOOM and DOOM Eternal not only run fucking fantastically on the Steam Deck, but they look fucking gorgeous on it too.
I had my suspicions that Microsoft would fuck something up and now my suspicions say that this is it (and I hope this is the extent of it)

Very. It’s extremely similar to the first in many ways but has loads of improvements that refine what was already there. It’s like Borderlands 3 compared to Borderlands 2, or Arkham Knight compared to Arkham Asylum.
Additionally, the story is great, if a little bit rushed. Having not read the comics I greatly enjoyed the development of the black suit and the symbiote storyline as something relatively fresh compared to the 90’s cartoon and the Toby Maguire movies
I’d argue you should watch A New Hope because it was groundbreaking at the time, Empire Strikes Back because it’s amazing by any standard, and Return of the Jedi only if you crave resolution. Then watch Rogue One because it’s borderline better than Empire Strikes Back.
There’s only 2 good Star Wars movies that are good by the standards of modern cinema.
First movie that comes to mind is the Power Rangers movie starring Bryan Cranston from like 7 or 8 years ago. Went fully expecting another Transformers-esque butchering of a nostalgic trip. Was delightfully surprised by the deep and relatable characters. I recommend it as an above-average super hero movie.
