If your dog doesn’t already get wet food, you could try the small packs of wet dog food. I make 3 little “meatballs” out of the wet food, one of which has his pill. He scarfs down all 3 and thinks he’s getting a treat.

Such a great mindset, this dog (and the previous) are lucky to have such a patient owner. For socializing, there’s a local dog trainer who does monthly doggie social hours in an indoor horse arena. Maybe a trainer in your area does something similar?
