Edit: I know I’ve seen End of Watch and I thought it was a good movie, but I don’t remember much of it. Apparently that’s about two LAPD cops who get tangled up in some cartel corruption of their department, so maybe that one too?

I get that you are technically doing someone’s job for free, but you can always collect your “pay” by giving yourself a “discount.” Personally, I prefer to scan my avacados as potatoes so I can have my avocado toast every day and be able to save up for a house. We don’t meet up in person too often, but my friends from college have a discord server that pretty much always at least 2 or 3 people chilling in. Sometimes we play games together, other times everyone is doing their own thing but it’s nice to have people to talk to when gaming. Also most of us live too far from each other to meet up all the time. I guess this is like the modern day, post covid, equivalent of everyone meeting up in a bar or cafe after work

Only 7 years of engineering experience and pretty much every time I have used pi, I have rounded it to 3 or 4. Now, the thing is, I am an electrical engineer that works in industrial automation. I never use pi at all

Nah, it’s fine. Trust me I use pi=4 in every calculation I do that uses pi and I haven’t ever run into any issues at all

Rounding pi to 3 is just the engineering way. It’s close enough to get the job done and then I don’t have to worry about decimal places. However, using pi=3 typically undershoots your calculations, so personally I like to use pi=4
