I use Plexamp for music, and I can connect the app on my phone to the client on my Roku. Then I can select tracks on my phone and they’ll play on the Roku.

2·2 months agoIt solves all your issues. No weird, non-standard DNS records. Just turn it on and everything both on your local network and external (if you want it to) works via domain name.
The easy answer is to enable NAT loopback (also sometimes called NAT hairpinning) on your edge router.
15·2 months agoWasn’t detected until after it passed. Only 1.5m in diameter though, wouldn’t have done any damage if it hit.
I used to have a dog who, when finding a pill in her food would daintily pluck it out of her bowl and drop it on the ground beside it. I’d go over, point at the pill and say “get it” and she’d eat it. Eventually she’d eat them on her own, but only after getting it out of her bowl and eating all her food.
