My favorite part of the linux experience is the FREEDOM, but also being talked down to for not using my freedom correctly, I should only do things a specific way or I might as well just use windows.

No one has more problems on windows than a linux-first user.

Every thread like this has people that can’t seem to get windows to do the bare minimum, but I have yet to have a single hiccup in months. I don’t get it. This isn’t even a “linux bad” comment, I dual boot and enjoy my linux install as well, the only “problems” I have on there are from being new to linux.

I like pineapple on its own. I’m just not a big fan of pineapple on things. I don’t need everything I eat to be savory and sweet.

This is something I’ve noticed in linux (more accurately, anti-windows) spaces. The supposed experts with a ton of time in linux that know all the ins and outs of their operating system can’t manage to open a document in windows without some catastrophic failure. Nothing ever works for them outside of linux.

Am I the only person in the world that managed to delete the shit off of windows that I didn’t want and never have it come back?

I went to a casino once because my roommate at the time wanted to go for a bit. He even spotted me $10 because I had no cash on me. Turned that $10 in to $40, paid back the roommate and left with the $30 and never went back.

Never happened to me, but then again, most of the shit I see people complain windows does has never been my experience either.

Shouldn’t have to, absolutely, but its done anyway, so I think its can be relevant.

Until that last little bit of stuff I have to use windows for becomes linux native or at least doesn’t have a tutorial to make it work that makes my eyes cross, its just easier for me to use my stripped down windows install because it just works.
