Why don’t scientists just point a telescope at the ocean: are they stupid?
[W]e must recognize, and loudly proclaim, that everyone, whatever his grade in the old society, whether strong or weak, capable or incapable, has, before everything, the right to live, and that society is bound to share among all, without exception, the means of existence it has at its disposal.

And not an educational content creation either. Most of these kids want to be paid for hot-takes and video game streaming.
Ah, I didn’t see that your comment was written sarcastically. Sorry about that.
Make no mistake, Barack Obama is a war criminal.
During his presidency, Obama approved the use of 563 drone strikes that killed approximately 3,797 people. In fact, Obama authorized 54 drone strikes alone in Pakistan during his first year in office. One of the first CIA drone strikes under President Obama was at a funeral, murdering as many as 41 Pakistani civilians. The following year, Obama led 128 CIA drone strikes in Pakistan that killed at least 89 civilians. Just two years into his presidency, it was clear that the “hope” that President Obama offered during his 2008 campaign could not escape U.S. imperialism.
The drone operations extended to Somalia and Yemen in 2010 and 2011, resulting in more destructive results. Under the belief they were targeting al-Qaida, President Obama’s first strike on Yemen killed 55 people including 21 children, 10 of which were under the age of five. Additionally, 12 women, five of them pregnant, were also among those who were murdered in this strike. These blundered acts of murder by not only President Obama, but the U.S. government, are morally reprehensible.
Even more civilian casualties came out of Afghanistan throughout Barack Obama’s time in office. In 2014, Obama began removing troops currently deployed in the country. However, instead of this action by the president being one in a pursuit of peace and stability in the region, it only acted as an opportunity to drastically increase air warfare. Afghanistan had war rained upon them by U.S. bombardment, with the administration viciously dropping 1,337 weapons on Afghanistan in 2016. In total that year, the Obama administration dropped 26,171 bombs (drone or otherwise) across seven countries: Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan. The U.S., in cooperation with its allies including the Afghan government, killed 582 civilians on average annually from 2007 to 2016.

Americans are propagandized to ignore U.S. imperialism; we assert ourselves as the world’s policeman. Ask yourself: Why can the U.S. murder in the Middle East or sink civilian ships from Venezuela with impunity? The murder of U.S. civilians is unacceptable but when we do the killing it’s always a “necessary evil”.
Lack of support for Win10. Also, I’m a contrarian who doesn’t want to be beholden to the whims of a multinational corporation.

You are technically correct, in the literal sense that managers and executives have work to do.
It should be noted, however, that it is the workers (not the company owners/investors) that create all the products that are up for sale and the infrastructure necessary to begin production (e.g., roads, bridges, electricity, education, etc.). Hence, when a CEO say that they “built” the company, they are obfuscating the exploitation of the labor of workers who transform raw materials into all the useful commodities we enjoy.

When you have hope in the voting system there’s less motivation to educate yourself about history and current events. “We know what the problems are: let’s just vote them away!” You need to be motivated to educate yourself because it’s much easier to accept dominant narratives than to admit how little you know on any given subject.
On the flip side, abandoning electoralism requires an independence of thought that lends itself toward questioning other narratives. Once you realize you’ve been fooled before, it’s obvious that you likely hold other beliefs that don’t align with reality. At this point, you have ample motivation. Personally, this is when I began reading leftist theory. It’s easier to question the system after you’ve been disillusioned.
The unfortunate thing about the internet is all the people who agree with this sentiment are scattered across the globe. You’d have to do flyers in your local community or something
And the FBI, killed Martin Luther King!

We all joke, but the people in charge clearly do whatever the fuck they want and then sweep it under the rug when/if it becomes public.
At that point you need a government to set rules, and law enforcement to enforce those rules.
In a communist society where we have abolished wages and everyone has their needs guaranteed, why would anyone harm the community by flouting norms regarding the commons? This paints us as naturally immoral creatures that will always need Father Government to protect us from ourselves. Arguably, people are such social creatures that strong norms and taboos would keep most (all?) of us in check (again, in the context of a communist society).
Well said. To give some more examples of communal societies:
The Mbuti hunter-gatherers of the Ituri Forest in central Africa.
The gift-giving economy of the Semai in Malaya.
Numerous indigenous societies in NA that practice communal land ownership (Lakota/Dakota/the Cherokee, etc.).
Millions who shared resources in the villages of Europe.
People who argue that we need capitalism to save us from ourselves don’t understand human nature.
Additionally, we have managed pastures, woods, and fisheries for thousands of years without government intervention. The so-called tragedy is solved by community members (checks notes) talking about how to preserve the resources required for their survival.

I just switched and, yeah, the learning curve can be tough. This month I’ve learned two dozen abbreviations just because I’ve had to install, fix things, and customize. No way the average users would want to go through that.
The results can be cool though. Terminal opens as a matrix window and then neofetches an ascii art image of my face. Makes it all worth it haha. Also, fuck Microsoft.

Back up your data and dual boot. Or just try it out from a USB stick and see how you like it.
It’s also obvious just how much work being a musician is. Even a child understands that you can’t just pick up an instrument and play your favorite song without training. Whereas the work in being a Youtuber/Twitch streamer is hidden from the audience.
