I don’t think any compatible machines can be acquired in my region any more. The only one I saw semi recently had a revision a few years ago but no packaging or model change to match so you can’t verify if its the older model that works or the newer one that doesn’t.
I’ve tried them all but I’ve always been at fedora length. I did end up sticking with fedora so probably accurate enough.

I have some script or maybe it was a program in a container that checks my isp IP and uses the domain provider api to keep the DNS set to the isp IP if it changes. I’m using opnsense but I’m sure openwrt has the same thing in some form.

those silicone tube tipped ones are awesome. squishes and contours around to seal the spot for better solder removal and replacable tip if it gets damaged
does it make switching apps bearable? I havent touched mine since even the most minimal setup lags like hell on basic browsing and texting
