Ooo, I like how you use the IKEA boxes for that.
I’m partial to the succulent ones, those look so cute.

The bonsai set is great, I still need to put it together. Maybe for the upcoming CNY!

2nd or 3rd, hard to believe either way.

China 3rd? Hard to believe.
ITT: People who just read the headlines and not the article, and then going off on their own Windows rant/Linux evangelism instead of discussing the article.

Dang, lucky you! Though also what in the world did the previous owner do to it to kill the battery so dead in just 3 years.

Holy shit, that is a great deal regardless of where in the world you are. How’d you get it so cheap?

Tough as hell, good to great keyboards, Trackpoints are the bomb if you do work in an enterprise environment (more text than graphics)

It’s a tough situation, but much of our progress has been on this ponzi population scheme, and it’s just not sustainable any more. A population that’s a pyramid (ie significantly more young than old) is an ever-growing one, and currently we’re pushing the limits of sustainability as it is.
I do believe that a complete overhaul is in order, not just infrastructure, but how our economies and societies work.

Didn’t work that well; in the end, it’s the same like any other country: Increased education and rising affluence.
It’s not that simple. Is this for simple sexual gratification? A fantasy? Short-term relationship? Long-term?
When I was 20, I had my fantasies and had several one-night stands as well with older men. That’s where the attraction ended; it was more of a fantasy/kink, but I held no romantic interest in them.
The issue mostly is with power imbalance, it’s very easy for the older person to use their experience in life to limit the agency of the younger partner, so it takes some work for an age gap relationship to be a healthy one. I’m in one myself, and I do my best to be mindful about this.
Asian cultures don’t really see it as normal too, tongues were wagging with one of our Singapore president candidates in the recent election; he was 75, she 45.
I know, that’s why I don’t begrudge them, but at the same time, I do feel a little weary on the inside when I see another interesting game that’s pixel art. xD

I live in a rural area. The most I’ve ever had to wait was during a lunch rush one day. About 5 to 10 minutes or so.
And here I thought rural areas would have less vehicles (and people) so that wouldn’t be a thing. Meanwhile I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait more than 2 minutes, and I’m in a super dense city!
Generally it’s down to genre and mechanics. I obviously have my preferences so I’ll always keep a lookout on those that interest me. As well as avoid those I don’t.
I generally don’t have a preference for art style (I appreciate a wide variety of them), though I confess, I am getting a little tired of pixel-art games.

It’s really the Fairphone, you don’t have many options.

Water apples, or wax apple. Their name is pretty much self-explanatory in terms of the taste. Really refreshing in the tropics.

Interesting, will definitely want to try at some point too.
I’m not so paranoid, but at the same time, will it actually be useful? This sounds like a way to generate a mountain of data with minimal benefit. I don’t really trust AI at the moment to be able to help me with some vague recollection of work that was done 3 weeks ago, for example (I go through a lot of cases each month).
