You can! We sell them and that is one of the selling points well tell people who don’t want to use the service.
Yes I do! I got mine in 2014 and still use it every day! Last year I changed the battery and repasted the cpu and it still got plenty of life in it. Let people think whatever they want but if you want solid build quality and good support, you can’t beat a Mac. :)
You could not go wrong with a older MacBook. This way you will get great support with updates and a well build device that can last a long time. :)
For example, this is a pretty good one!

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's the best advice you've learned though your time on Earth (as opposed to the moon)?
3·2 years agoI am not really agreeing with you on that part. Bad times makes good times feel better and if you are constantly chasing good times you will never reach them since you are never there yet.
Just let it be and you will be fine.

5·2 years agoThere is a alternative for this. It’s called Rubber Ducking.
Basically if you can break it down so you can explain it to a rubber duck (preferably on your desk) then you probably can find the issue. :)

There recently was an article that discussed about what the Dutch could do. It came down to 3 suggestions:
What it is going to become, I don’t know but it will be really interesting!
