I think they meant the sub where life is treated like a game, a very poorly designed game (almost as if there was no Designer, just people).

I have heard of putting a layer of clear nail polish on the surfaces that touch the fingers to counter the staining. Never tried it myself though. At the time we had silver to work with, so I used that after practicing with copper and brass.

At what scale would it begin to disrupt things like the AMOC?

How much is it going to heat the local area? Along with disk and rack design testing, are they also testing how this thing affects wildlife?

The appeal is understandable: proximity to population centers, temperature, security, scaling with renewable tech, etc.
