Yep it’s pretty much better in all regards.

The only downside is no ARC support, but I suppose support for that is pretty hit or miss anyway.

We just need IANA to add that new status code. /s

Just be mindful of the xbox controllers as I think it should be very picky about working only with specific versions of the controller, but what version of SteamOS are you on? It’s been on a journey of being enabled and disabled with each update.
You might want to try the beta version

Would be great for condos - I have an upstairs balcony that’s sort of useless for anything else.

That is the most hilarious second (third?) death of Digg.

All of the people discussing Bernie with Epstein.

There’s no reason your games anticheat shouldn’t be working under Linux.

You could run it fine before, it just required experimental.
Your not going to be high quality at 60fps, but it’s certainly serviceable.

Awesome news

Wonder if they’ll also add an option to wake up periodically to enter this mode when plugged in.
Would be nice for the Steam Deck connected to the dock and making sure updates are applied while at work…

I mean, its ironic that one of the developers of the graphics pipeline that most consoles use (DirectX) and one of three major consoles cant make their own OS perform better than Valve and a bunch of developers working in a cave on Linux, lol

The irony of it considering Microsoft’s tweaks to make it a “gaming mode” windows (which results in miniscule FPS gains).

Do their emails finally no longer have “formerly twitter” in the title?

What do you mean they’re fancy word prediction models and don’t understand things?!
But Sam Altman said AGI!

Looks like you might be right - though I imagine disabling the ability to draw over apps with that security flag in place would do a lot to mitigate… but… im also not a security researcher
