Thanks for elaborating! I am in no way great at spotting such slop videos, but I did notice some of the stuff you mentioned.

In some of the videos, they have a little “self-cam” in the corner - is that artificial too?

Regarding artificial voicing, I did test a few videos - the phrasing, punctuation and sound effects were similar. Is that how you figure it is artificial?

And what gives away the faces are generated? Most videos even have comments - everything is fake?!

Thanks in advance. If I came across only one of the videos - and did not see all thumbnails in a search for instance - I must shamefully admit that I probably would not have spotted it.

I was referring to Danish, but indeed it seems the same spelling also applies for Norwegian and Swedish. But quite different pronounciations, I would think. In Danish, you would say “åst” with an “å”- which everyone naturally knows how to pronounce of course.

Haha, yes, that’s brilliant. We even do that here from time to time. One indeed does look dapper saying “OOOST”.

Indeed, try to learn Danish even though it is a ridiculous language. I believe there are even free courses, although I am not absolutely sure. Here’s a few words to get you started:

Hej/godmorgen/goddav’ = hello/good morning/howdy (last word especially in Jutland)
Farvel = goodbye
Tak = thank you
Velbekomme = you are welcome
Undskyld = sorry
Undskyld mig = excuse me
Ingen problem = no worries
Jeg hedder Frank = my name is Frank
Godt at møde dig = nice to meet you
Vi ses/hav det godt = see you/take care
Hav en god dag = have a good day
