The nuclear bro admitted nuclear is expensive to build, cities and towns could help with the costs, it would build jobs and it’s been tested for decades. I remember being a kid and hearing about celebrities putting in solar panels and it being cost effective in about 5 years.
I’ve known someone who put up a small wind turbine and they had a battery bank. It was super simple and worked np. I’m not sure of what you’re saying.
Why is that the alternative?
If we can send a robot to mars, we can build personal renewables right now. Why won’t you nuclear bros address that?

special waste management is doing a lot of heavy lifting, yeah? Meaning, we are leaving nuclear waste to future generations.
As far as renewables cons, we just stayed at home for 2 years and we adjusted. Not having enough power and more power failures isn’t such a bad trade-off. Start spending your time on getting renewables in every household. Public and private utilities need to adjust to people taking back their power.
I want to see personal renewables developed with battery storage before we go nuclear. I want to see a wall of small wind turbines and solar panels or 4 placed on every roof. All commercial building roofs are required to be white.
The nuclear bros are going all in with no idea how to handle waste and nuclear accidents. If they were serious, the would figure out waste at the very least…

Christie is as petty as trump, he held up ambulances and shit to get back at someone. He also let his employees take the blame for him for that. He shut down a beach and decided it was a good idea to take himself and his family to his own private beach. The only reason he stands up to trump is because he wasn’t picked as trump’s vp. He’s a POS, imo.

Could you give examples? I think I agree with you but I’m not sure I’m understanding correctly.

I agree with what you’re saying and I think it’s fair even though I’m in a great relationship. If you look at super old movies, they’re just having fun with everyone and that’s what was promoted. Everything wasn’t the rom coms or intense scrutiny it is today. * Granted, they were probably all drunk or coked up, lol.
How many shot gun weddings or forced marriages do you know irl though? The OP was saying it like it’s super common.
I would add to those:
- how money and credit cards work
- how to pay bills and what paying late means
- how credit score companies are predatory but you still have to abide by them for loans.
- what loans are and what signing for a loan means.
- how to do your own laundry
- how to cook healthy meals for yourself and the nutrition of unhealthy foods. Don’t say, “eat healthy”, but try it out for a few weeks in school.
- how to help your friends without getting sucked in
- how drugs work and what it looks like to spiral out of control. What are the actual side effects of all drugs.
- why might you be self-medicating through lots of drugs and/or extreme video game playing
- how to deal with depression in yourself and others
It’s a cycle of madness though, how can they teach you something they’ve never been taught?
