I was the same and have suffered to some extent since. In 2008 I was made redundant from my job of 15 years and couldn’t leave the house for the best part of the year.

I have the fairphone 4 and have had no issues. As long as a fairphone exists I don’t see any reason I should switch.

I cannot own my own house. Something about I don’t earn enough.

I am allowed to pay rent at nearly double what a mortgage would be and this is financially allowed.

Ah gotcha. I guess people will be people but I wish it wasn’t so easy to divide us so we could work to common good and change but I know that’s just a dream.

Gen x absolutely were parents at the beginning of the internet. The earlier gen X were in their 20’s when the world wide web was demonstrated so were the parents of the first children who were born into it.

Well by that logic of age then gen X too. There’s a bit more insight for you.

This applies to any age group though so I don’t understand why you are pointing the finger in a particular direction. It’s not really helpful or insightful in the context of the thread.
