The American public at large who has problems with fascists has been brainwashed into thinking violence is not the answer for decades. The only people in the US who hate fascists and think violence SHOULD be used against them are a very small minority, who ALSO do not want to start shooting first because winning the narrative is just as important as the rebellious act itself. Basically, until the current administration does villainy on the level of the Wounded Knee Massacre, no one will shoot at them. Until that happens, most people are rebelling in ways that are mostly disruptive. Don’t get me wrong tho, that IS still a valid form of rebellion.

I don’t get how babies not spontaneously learning language invalidates the fact that toddlers will instinctively walk up to other toddlers to play regardless of their race. And sure, you need to learn empathy, but that’s when the conditioning part comes in. Plenty of people become empathetic adults even if their parents are terrible people.

TBH I think this is more of a conditioning thing. Like, very young toddlers (up to like, 5-6 years old) literally cannot understand racism. You joke but I’m a libertarian socialist and I say the government SHOULD be scared of regular people with weapons.
