Looks can be deceiving. Coming from someone who uses the steamdeck, that layout looks exactly how I hoped and imagined it would be. The steamdeck is incredibly comfortable to hold and this looks like it would be the same!

I hope they stick with the “mini steamdeck layout” like shown in the 3D model pic. I saw a video awhile ago where someone made their own steam controller using spare parts from various Steam Decks, and I always hoped the official would look at least somewhat similar.

I use RedLib but I make it even easier by having an extension LibRidirect that automatically redirects reddit links to privacy frontends such as RedLib. It’s really easy to use and I don’t even have to think about using Reddit ever again. Win-win in my book.

I am going to distro hop and experiment with it a bit more before I make the switch, I haven’t thought about things such as my peripherals being incompatible under Linux until I tried it for myself. I couldn’t use some of the buttons on my mouse (Logitech G502) to change things such as the DPI/sensitivity, and my headset (Arctis Novo Pro Wireless) also had similar issues, both of which use software that is only made for Windows. :(
The heat gets so bad here that I am practically dreading living half the year. I’m so thankful for winter months though. I love the snow and being able to play on my PC to heat my room up from the cold easily. I feel like I can barely game and do much in summer/spring because of all the extra heat my GPU puts off…
Because there’s always going to be someone who says the distro you liked the most is not the distro you should be using. (I use Arch btw)
Same! Mine somehow updated on its own when I was switching between desktop mode and now it completely broke Decky for me. The entire Decky menu is missing for me :( I need to find a way to stop it from updating. It’s annoying.
