I seem to have missed it in the north east and central Germany. Then again, I don’t think I ever heard someone say something other than “Ich habe meine Tage” except for some creepy dudes with skeleton T-Shirts talking about being brave seamen that don’t fear the red sea. Which I always found kinda icky.
I have never heard this expression. Which part of Germany is that from?
My father taught me that song as a kid:

But since he went to an English school, he also taught me English songs and nursery rhymes and I am having so much fun at therapy.
Oh yeah, I remember the good ol’ “Our whole business Logic is within this 30 tables spread sheet, that only one person can read, and don’t you dare restarting that computer” times.
One person. Sitting in front of three monitors. In front of a spreadsheet that maxed out every resource of that computer. It was glorious.
I want that on a t-shirt! And I’m definitely going to steal it for my slack tagline.
I like the idea, however there are some differencea between books and musical instruments. Hygiene is a problem with all woodwind instruments. Strings, sticks, cymbals, cables brake and need to be replaced regularly. Also a whole ass drumset is huge compared to a book. But there are rehearsal rooms that you can rent that also rent out instruments. It is expensive though.
