It looks like funny number, but it’s actually The Game. Funny numbers reference something, The Games are self referential.

12·13 days agoHad you gone as far as the article you would have seen the disclaimer that makes it clear it’s sarcasm.
Yeah, not to disparage his hard work organising beforehand and 2 years in prison (so far), but ultimately all he did was park really badly. At most he should be getting a few points on his license.
Aww man, I got
Constantly working (not into it)

Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•The gaming industry didn't remove cheat codes because they broke game balance, they removed them so they could sell those exact same advantages back to us as microtransactions.
21·21 days agoThe skins and p2w shit you get from micro transactions aren’t a fraction as cool as DK mode in Goldeneye or BIGDADDY in AoE.

I finally managed to break out of 3 months of Angine de Poitrine yesterday. Definitely a record for my musical obsessions.
Maybe someone’s finally solved it over the past few years, but he was telling me that automating apple harvests was still a massive challenge about 5 years ago - there are/were machines to pick up fallen apples and robots for picking them individually, but you can’t easily shake all the apples off a mature tree for collection and a human can pick them from the branch far more quickly than a robot. From what I can see online there’s one that does it for young trees, but most of them are still glorified cherry-pickers.
Afaik it’s mostly medium-large fruits that still get harvested by hand. I knew a Norwegian guy who developed the ideal bodybuilder physique just from picking apples for a few seasons.
It’s a lot easier to lose nukes when you have tens of thousands than it is if you have up to 60.

21·2 months agoThis is my take on a lot of Linux distros nowadays. Give them Ubuntu or Fedora KDE and a windows skin and most people won’t realise anything’s changed.
You could have just asked those questions 3 days ago when you got the source, why are you upset about being treated with the same respect you give?
OH what a surprise, it DOES turn out you were just here to JAQ off all along. You’re as easy to see through as folahts’ source is to find.

8·2 months agoNvidea might be making a big difference there, I’m on AMD and didn’t lose any frames, even in AAA games, when I switched from Windows 10 to Bazzite 42. Haven’t gained any either, but there’s a lot less stutter in menus and faster loading times that still make it feel smoother anyway.

Yes? I’m confused, is there no subject you’re familiar enough with to recognise sources?
-
Yes it does, it doesn’t qualify as a reference, but luckily you’re looking at the Wikipedia page so you can just click it instead.
-
Yes, people make mistakes, but luckily sometimes other people like me are around to correct them.
-
No, I can justify my attributionby the fact that there’s only one (1) source that lists the dead by faction, the numbers just show how they misremembered the specifics of the source.
This isn’t some complex chain of advanced logic, I really don’t understand what you’re having trouble with.
-
Correct, as I said elsewhere they got the distribution wrong because they are working off memory, but it’s not difficult to link the numbers - they mistook the police and army as having the same number of deaths as civilian protestors rather than student protestors, but the total roughly matches and there’s only one source that makes that specific distinction between groups rather than a general guess at a total. I don’t understand why you’re so upset about being told the source after asking for the source.

I think it’s limited on the cores it runs on or something - mine chugs on big maps with lots of water without going over 30%, which would be 4 cores running at full.
