  • I do go to the real source first. But sometimes, I just need a very simple explanation before I can dive deep into the topic.

My brain sucks, I give up very easily if I don’t understand something. (This has been true since way before short form content and internet)

If I had to say how much I use it to learn, I’d say it’s about 30% of the total learning. It can’t teach you course work from scratch like a real person can (even through videos), but it can help clear doubts.

  • I am big fan of their prepandemic work. But if you can get past their click bait videos, I think they still do good content.

Science pieces spreading awareness about something are their best videos.

This recent video on fentanyl was very good.

The south korea one, the vaping and weed ones. Very good at condensing complicated topic while still retaining pertinent information that’s new and not patronizing.

  • My fucking Brain. I have severe ADHD, and difficulty understanding concepts that are even more than a little complex. I forget stuff so easily. I fucking hate it so much, it is massively fucking frustrating.

I have passion, time and a want to be better. But changing myself is like walking barefoot through a narrow corridor, shoulder wide and full of glass shards on both the walls and the ground. All the while I keep forgetting where the exit is, even as it is right infront of me. Things that should take normal people a day to do, takes me more than a month. I hate it, I hate that it takes me so much time. And only fear drives me to do things, WHY? Why can’t it be something that I want to do instead of fucking fear. I fucking hate that. It’s like my brain has some bottleneck that just can’t be gotten rid of.

If I weren’t lucky with my circumstances, I would have killed myself.

I remember first learning about linux OS and how to create a Linux USB installer using rufus to bypass the password my parents had put on the windows side. In those days there was no eifi boot loader lock you could access the files just by trying out the new OS you had in your USB. LOL.
