Fellas is it pedophilic to be okay with or even like plushies?
Pronouns: it/its, she/her, or fae/faer. It refers to itself in third person. That’s just how it be.

You say that but it looks to me like she’s trying not to laugh. I’m pretty sure I make a similar expression when my wife and I jokingly argue about silly things.

3·4 months agoHahahahahaHHAHAHAAHSHAHAHAHDHDGF Country wide fiber in the US?? Think of the local monopolies gouging hundreds of dollars out of you for what amounts to dial up compared to fibre! Do you expect them to upgrade their infrastructure when they can do nothing and continue to make money??

42·4 months agoCould you share said sources? It’s irrelevant though because justifying this doxxing SHOULD mean that the entirety of 4chan is a justifiable dox target. If you don’t believe that, then you should be against it happening against Tea users. They’re at the very least guilty of the same thing (in this case. 4chan is guilty of much more heinous things than just this).

1·5 months agoThe performance isn’t entirely true. I recently switched back to Firefox and certain sites function noticeably worse. Not enough to give up ublock origin and go back though lol. Not even close. I’ll take some occasional buffering and frame dips over that any day.

Part of the reason it can be hard to tell is because we cannot see a source of the ambient light shining onto the part of the dress we see. The reason I see white and gold is because my brain defaults to the back lighting being sunlight and the overhead being shaded by tent. Not uncommon at rennaissance fairs and the like. But if you see this all as in door lighting it’s much easier to imagine bright overhead department store lights or something.
So no, no one is stupid for seeing it one way or the other.

Thanks for adding onto this!
Thank you!
Thanks so much!
Hey can y’all help me out? I wanna start switching over, but I need a beginner friendly distro that can work well with my 2070 super for gaming. I need something simple to set up or I’ll get ADHD paralysis and never do it.
I’d also love if it worked well with my Valve Index, but if that still has a lot of issues across the board I may still have to dual boot :c

memes@lemmy.world•I looked it up. I struggle to live not as well as a Norwegian prisoner.English
6·7 months agoThe difference is that your example is designed to exploit you and, generally, your freedom amounts to “leave and get exploited elsewhere.” This is the same for poverty. Sure, technically you could walk away… But to do what? Suffer elsewhere in poverty?
Those in Swedish prisons aren’t free to leave, but that’s not the only kind of freedom that exists. Freedom from starvation, danger, from the influences that lead to the crime that put you in prison. Is it really so hard to imagine a world where you might give up some freedom for real, tangible safety and peace of mind?

Though this proprietary implementation of cloud storage for IPoAC is very innovative, it’s really only useful for enthusiasts of the protocol and it comes with some security concerns. Writing data to the storage is inconsistent and requires a lot of effort on the uploader’s part. And if you do manage to get the data to write properly, there’s no guarantee retrieving the data will be lossless.
The most worrying part for me, however, is that there’s no guarantee that the data can be removed from the cloud without obliterating the server it’s stored on or waiting for the device to degrade over time. Until these are addressed I don’t think we’ll see widespread adaptation.
