Never understood this argument. It has nice rethorics but proves nothing. the problem with text prediction != intelligence is that we can’t even define intelligence. I hate AI as much as the next guy here, but that doesn’t mean we should do lazy assertions and quoting dumb arguments.

Fuck that. It’s awesome! I want to have lazy initialized globals. It’s that package. I want code to shorten my builder pattern I import that. I need a typed concurrent work steel queue. No problem.

I look at a c project. Everywhere custom macros to do the most basic shit. I want to parse an xml in c? Better use a sax Parser and put all the data into globals. Cryptography? Better implement that ourselves… Using a library would be too much of a hassle.

I like und use “main” because it’s shorter, but call it master branch in colloquial speech because it’s cooler.

And then in the end we realize the most important thing was the tests we wrote along the way.

What do you mean specifically by encryption key handling? You log in, confirm it with one other device, done. Don’t see where I ever used technical knowledge?

I think no one has read Manufacturing Consent beyond the first chapter.
