Steam Machine is interesting. It feels like a solid time for someone to disrupt TV based gaming.

I door dashed for a bit between jobs. Never judged the customer unless they were exceptionally poor tippers. In my area, tip is only added on after service. One time it was pouring rain and this dude answered the door, told me how shitty it must be to deliver in that kind of weather, and then closed the door and no tip ever came through.
It was a big deal when it happened. Much of my family works in public education so there was definitely a big conversation about the administration’s lack of action.

Solid context that I hadn’t considered. Thanks.

It took some time for me to realize that not finding a continuous stream of new content was a feature and not a flaw. It meant that there was no algorithm feeding me an endless stream of crap in hopes of keeping me glued to the screen. It meant I could close the app and move on with my day and check back much later. That realization made me embrace it.

Last month when I went on vacation, I caught something while on the vacation. I would have sworn it was Covid or flu but tests came back negative. Just a bad viral infection. I guess those still exist.

I’m sure my fondness for that time is mostly nostalgia, but AIM was so kickass, man.

I actually just discovered that song by accident today lol. It was for a Venom movie? Weird collab but he’s always had a bit of the social commentary piece to him. This album just seems to be leaning more on the heavier sound.
Edit: OH! Hold the Line! I forgot about that one.

Grandson’s new album seems to be shaping up to have those tones. First released tracks hit them pretty pointedly. He’s not as refined as some of the artists you mentioned, though.

I’m honestly surprised your’s is not the top comment. Like, whatever, the launch was bad, but there is a serious mental health crisis if people are forming emotional bonds to the software.
If you’re looking for something approachable and not demanding on space, a soundbar setup with rears is a good alternative to traditional setups. I’m not necessarily a fan of Samsung sound myself, but I have a Sonos setup at home and I absolutely love what it did for my listening experience. Tuning it to the room was the icing that made it perfect.
Sonos isn’t right for everyone though. Either way, go find a place to LISTEN to the setup you’re looking at it. Don’t let fancy videos distract you. Close your eyes and listen. If you like the way it sounds, buy it and be proud of it.

I share the same feeling. The flat lifeless interfaces need to go.
Absolutely love the COOP pillow too!

Meta also expected the meta-verse to be the future of the web and thus rename their company, Meta lol

I have unknown numbers forwarded directly to voicemail on iOS, but yeah I’m getting a bunch too.
Man, I can’t stand this guy. He thinks dressing like a healing guru makes him any different than the rest of his peers. No one should give a shit about what he thinks anymore.
I’m from the North East so our proprietary eponym for them is “munchkins”

lol I got burned by that one too.
You can post about corn, apparently.
