So was Eliza.

So was Eliza.
Depends on the festival, but in general, sure. If there are girls there (and they are not behind velvet ropes, barricades or up on stages), you probably have a chance of meeting them. Then what?
Regardless, the reason for going to a festival is to attend the festival itself and presumably have fun. Going only “to meet girls” is missing the point and setting yourself up for disappointment (and probably coming off a little creepy in the process). If you don’t like festivals, you can meet girls in far less expensive and noisy places, too.

Are they CarPlay enabled?

Apple Maps had a rough few months at its start, but it’s never let me down since — I’ve used it to drive across country (many times, many directions) and across town. Combined with CarPlay, it’s the only digital screen I’d ever want in my car’s dashboard.
Ads would destroy the only thing I’ve enjoyed about newer cars in decades.
You might have tried, but the company took all its products off the market for the last several weeks in anticipation of this announcement. You could use the trial, but you couldn’t purchase a new license.

ForgeJo has been a joy to use over the past few months for me. No regrets.

Ah. For those from the Before Times, Versions 1 through 6 were absolutely amazing. Version 7 included VC-inspired “improvements” that set off early-warning alarms, and Version 8 is the Stephen Miller of password managers.

There is currently an amazing amount of top-quality, open source, design and development software: Blender, Godot, Inkscape and Krita, for instance.

Is this a joke? 1Password’s switch from “lifetime license with local vaults” to “Fuck you/pay me subscription-based, cloud-only vaults” is the poster child for enshittified software. Version 8 is the main reason Bitwarden/KeepPass/VaultWarden are so popular now.
Almost four decades here (yes, before the Web), the best I could come up with was “‘Bout to find out.”

Terminator 2 is probably the easiest answer.

Nobody said you can’t be beaten to a quivering, mass of mutilated organs and shattered bones. You just won’t have death to release you from the pain.

Heh heh. Heh heh.

True enough. It seems I blew the assignment, as most of my examples are more fantasy-based than historically accurate. Still fun shows, though.

To be fair, I only saw a few episodes of the first season and had no expectations or notions when I stumbled on it; it seemed fine for what it was.
The other shows I mentioned, though, are actually favorites in our house.

For relatively recent US comedies, Season 2 of Miracle Workers, Galavant, and My Lady Jane were all pretty good. Also, Disenchanted was a pretty good animated series.
From my observations at music festivals, I’d guess either Jam Rock or Acid Rock.
I’ve written those same comments so many times over the years.
We all pretend our code doesn’t stink, but show me a developer who’s never left a a turd in a codebase, and I’ll show you someone who’s never been under a deadline.
Exactly. MacOS is the best of both worlds; it’s my absolute favorite distro of BSD.
And they celebrated at the lemon party.
