Isn’t there also a palantir module called prisma or something?
is there an enterprise support plan for this?

They have not changed anything in forever. Even the boot loader is unlocked.

I install tons of software with homebrew and nix every day. Yes, sometimes you need to allow a new version explicitly. Also yes, Apple could probably disallow that globally, but that would be a big change for something they allowed for 50 years.

I think this will definitely come. It’s just a matter of time.

It runs macOS so you can install any stuff that you want. With asahi Linux showing you can also install other operating systems. I think a retrograde lockdown might be possible, but it’s unlikely.

Outlook was trademarked.

Neat! FYI for anoyone else who does not find this, it is part of moreutils.
I use and like it.

Can confirm. I still get mail to the previous owner.
TBH, most software will never be used my many so needs no support. Also, I think lack of long-term support is not the same kind of problem it used to be. Back in the day, when the original author dropped support it was a major investment to get someone else up to speed. Now fixes and enhancements can be done by LLMs as well, given a somehwat competent software developer.
But in general: The newer the project and the more bells and whistles it has, the less I personally would want to make it an essential piece of my workflow.
