I recently gave this a shot and it’s cool but not perfect. You can’t delete files (you can only permanently delete with Ctrl + del), and you lose the windows right click menu so things like tortoisesvn no longer work.

162·5 months agoI’m on Linux with Firefox and have never had that issue before (particularly nexusmods which I use regularly). Something else is probably wrong with your setup.
There are migration tools, but not a good bulk one that I could find. It worked for my repos except for my unreal engine fork.
Why do your th’s look like that?
I’d love to help community host stuff, but I’m terrified of someone posting cp to a server I have or getting breached.
I like my ultrawides curved, but wouldn’t want a 16:9 curved.
Both of mine died lately and I want to get them working again, but qmk is a nightmare I don’t want to have to touch again.
I am astounded people managed to drive around Japan without gps. The signage is awful here. Even with gps it can be a struggle at times.

4·2 years agoEspecially considering the news on poor adoption rates for windows 11, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the case. It could also be an explanation as to why we are only seeing these ads added to w11 right now.
I don’t really know what I’ll do. I currently have to dual boot windows 10 for work since I do unreal game dev. I guess push for managers to allow me to setup a Linux dev env? But Linux binaries for third party plugins arent always there. That’s where I got stuck last time I tried.



I think it depends on the distro. Nixos is pretty bad for this if you want to try out a project that is really new. If you wait a month or two a flake usually comes out somewhere.
