But why not KDE? Its the best DE of all, […]
Not OP but I tried Fedora Kinoite a few days ago. My experience:
Why is it possible to even spawn widgets that are off screen? Whey are there multiple task bar widgets that apparently do the same thing and are indistinguishable? Very frustrating unfortunately.

I tried Fedora silverblue in a VM. It took minutes and a reboot to install tmux. I just don’t know. I’ve run arch linux and never ran into significant problems, I don’t know if the overhead is worth it.

Thanks for the great explanation!

What benefit does it have instead of getting a dynamic DNS entry and port forwarding on your internet connection?
Ok, this isn’t for me than.
Oh, that’s a no from me then.
Why should you get hate for the warp terminal? I’ve never used it but it looks quite nice.
Ok, i need to check this later. Thanks!
podman does not autostart containers after boot.
Does docker do this? I wrote a systemd unit for my docker container because I thought that there is no way for docker to autostart containers?
“What could possibly happen?”
Ok, that’s unfortunate. But I agree, the browsers default keybindings really shouldn’t be broken it’s really annoying. I hate it when middle click doesn’t work with some web pages. 😒
You can probably go back by swiping two fingers to the right on the touchpad. Maybe it depends on the OS and browser.
It’s also a common problem with 2.4 GHz Zigbee USB sticks. It’s recommended to connect them to a longer usb cable.

I can’t remember which to use. Which is the “basic” one and which is the one that we should use?
I lived through the IE6 days. I don’t want one browser or engine or company to dominate the web. We need multiple implementations of free and open standards.

Is there some low-power hardware that takes ECC RAM? I want something to replace my Atom mini-ITX board, but I also want ECC.
Your title is a bit provocative but I feel you. The biggest plus for Linux is also a bit of a negative: there are so many different ways to do things. There are multiple file managers for example, that all behave differently in some ways. So at the beginning it can be frustrating at times to figure out how things work and how to accomplish your goal.
It’s probably this, for all of you whou didn’t know Helix before, like me: https://helix-editor.com/
That looks useful.
