5·2 years agoIt looks like it changed last year, but the UK. The law was previously that pedestrians in a crosswalk should wait until it was clear to start crossing, as opposed to cars should stop if someone is waiting to cross.

13·2 years agoIn most states in the US, if the automobile traffic has the green light and the pedestrian traffic has a “don’t walk” sign, then the pedestrians are supposed to yield to the cars.

7·2 years agoMusic services are almost a necessity to me because of the amount of music I listen to, but it’s also a different animal. They all have mostly the same library, so you won’t typically be subscribing to more than one.
The problem with streaming video services is that most people watch a couple genres, and there’s content in every genre on every streaming platform. I watch a lot of scifi, for example. So I would need to subscribe to Apple TV for Silo and Foundation, Paramount+ for Star Trek, etc…

1·2 years agoIt sounds like you haven’t used a user friendly Linux distro in the last decade. Mint and Ubuntu will install any proprietary driver you need, but even beyond that most WiFi cards are supported out of the box by the Linux kernel now.
