That’s quite the point of lemmy, block instance you don’t want to interact with, or better, open up to views that are not curated by US

Mmm yes, it technically has the requiremebt for a meme, but isn’t there more to a meme than a jpeg and a text ? Like the representation of situations, or things, by the reuse of cultural reference or relatable situation ? Idk, this is is what i think is a meme, here i see a flag with a statement.
I see memes as a way to convey a message, you could maybe have a meme like : *picture of something bad * and a caption saying : “this is ukraine” that convey the statement “ukraine bad”
Note that what i am criticizing here is not the statement, only that the way it conveyed doesn’t really fit a meme community imo
I know, but here there is no meme Edit: (where’s the funny is also a meme)
Oh crap, a map of the Russian empire ! I guess Russia = Imperialisme reborn then :3

Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•The AI's in Toy Story could act as intermediaries between the toys and humans, because humans wouldn't think the toys have a life of their own.
6·2 months agoIn toystory 4, a kid build a toy with trash he found. Some minutes after, the trash pile is alive. The other toys are stunned to see that trash can become a living toy, and even the trash toy wants to die and go to the bin as it thinks it is a trash
In toystory 2, one buzz in supermarket is alive when the main buzz try to steal his belt. Also, buzzes seem to never remember that they are toys, and think they are true space ranger in mission.
They probably gain consciousness once they are manufactured and considered as a toy by someone, with maybe a premade personality human supposed it could have

8·2 months agoToys don’t want to be noticed as living. Imagine the reaction from society if they new non organic matter was alive and had a mind. Torture tests from scientists, exploitation, maybe used as weapon or spies, parents won’t trust toys to be alone with the kid etc…

Last time i checked china was mostly reliant on coal ? They shifted the energy production to something else ? Genuine question, if they took impactfull measures i’d be hapy to hear about it
