I agreed about media. The story is much more complex as usual, there was good and there was bad about USSR. I do not like the idea of taking only good or only bad about USSR from the history to aggressively and manipulatively push somthing.

And I do not like when anyone’s family past is used for politival advantage or disadvantage. Like why is it matter where who was born, who was one’s grandpa or something, etc. when we are talking on current days politics? Focus on the present problem.

I only left this commentary because for me making a meme with mentioning only her father is kind of manipulation. There is the fact that her family (mother) was oppressed. Technically speaking she doesn’t lie when she is is saying that. The “meme” is trying to portrait it like she is lying by providing only half of information and by ignoring another half. I just do not like it. And it is not against what did you say.

During the March 1949 Soviet mass deportations, Kallas’ mother, Kristi, six months old at the time, grandmother and great-grandmother, all labeled as “enemies of the state”, were deported to Siberia. Her mother was allowed to return to Soviet-occupied Estonia in 1959.

I think she was talking about her mother as victim of USSR, not about his father.

According to the Movember Foundation, a leading men’s health organization and partner of UN Women, two-thirds of young men regularly engage with masculinity influencers online.

While some content offers genuine support, much of it promotes extreme language and sexist ideology, reinforcing the idea that men are victims of feminism and modern social change.

So, 2/3 of young men are risking to become incels, right? Because it is hard to imagine a young girl who is looking for a partner with hyperfocus on his own masculinity as well as a partner, who portraits himself as victim? That is sad…

Deepseek collects and process all the data you sent to their LLN even from API calls. It is a no-go for most of businesses applications. For example, OpenAI and Anyhropic do not collect or process anyhow data sent via API and there is an opy-ouy button in their settings that allows to avoid processing of the data sent via UI.

I have Pixel with GrapheneOS and I tried most of FOSS camera apps, but all of them are still far behind the GCam. I hope one day there will be a good replacement, but not today.

I’m using Organic / OsmAnd for most of use cases and daily navigation. But if you need to find a specific office, shop, food or ATM nearby you still need GMap from time to time…
