AMD, for the last 17 years. I had an ATI card and it broke so I needed to RMA it but thats when AMD bought them out & the RMA’d card failed as well, within 48 hours - so I RMA’d again and again, same issue. RMA’d again and again, same issue. tossed the card & started using only Nvidia and have never had an issue since. fuck AMD.

cant think of anything I actively boycott, though I do avoid products that have overly enthusiastic marketing campaigns.

there’s a few different reasons that I can see

• there were fewer people total, so fewer bands - ie: less trash to sort through / increased popularity

• there’s arguably more things to protest about nowadays but because of that there’s fewer things that both resonate with a lot of people and sound good at the same time

• if everyone is protesting, no one is. there’s too many different slogans being called out, too many different groups to support (ie: buy the album or give them radio time), and many of those groups are at odds with each other.

• technological advancement - radio is seen as a dead medium to many these days, there are far more ways to consume media than to listen to the radio. it may be that protest songs just dont air on the radio for that reason alone - their target demographic doesnt listen to radio.

why dont they just airdrop supplies in? drones arent that expensive - especially not when you’re destroying China’s face on the international stage.

investment opportunities are endless really. I’d buy real estate & develop it for resale - relatively easy profits there. US FDIC only insures up to 250k per account, but there are other country’s banks out there - the Swiss banking system was a popular choice in the past but I’ve heard that the Cayman Island banking system is good as well. invest in tech - small businesses, as a few tens of millions isnt going to go that far, but 100 mil is good seed capital.
